Consulting Work
I do consulting work through my company Parakeet Consulting . I have worked in a number of fields including being a medical doctor, an academic researcher, a software developer and a business owner. I have a wide range of skills and experience that I can bring to your project. I have a particular interest in the intersection of technology and healthcare, and in creating tools that can help healthcare researchers and professional do their work more effectively.
I am also the co-author of the book Async Rust , which is a comprehensive guide to asynchronous programming in Rust, and is due out later this year.
I am available for consulting work in the following areas:
- Medtech software development - from planning and understanding the Medtech landscape to developing software
- Building custom data pipelines and data analysis tools in health and medical research
- Teaching and training in modern software development practices for academics and researchers
- Synthetic data generation
- Rust backend development and planning
- Rust and Python Microservices
- Advising on transition from Python to Rust
- Asynchronous programming in Rust
I have done consulting work for a number of clients in the past, through my other company Yellow Bird Consulting . Since our medical simulation product, Clinical Metrics, has become the focus of that company, we have closed the consulting arm of the business. Yellow Bird will shortly be launched as Clinical Metrics. I am now available for consulting work through Parakeet Consulting. I am always happy to have a chat about your needs. No project is too small to be considered.
I am also available for speaking engagements and workshops on the above topics. I work with a brilliant team of experienced developers so if you have a project that you think we could help with please get in touch.
